So, I finally overcame my shyness and made a video of myself in my isolation chamber during the lockdown here in Los Angeles. As I mentioned in the VIDEO below, it’s kind of silly of me to be shy about making videos because for one thing, I have a SAG card.
Still, there’s always the anxiety we have as Baby Boomer women that we’re too fat, our wrinkles will show, and we’ll embarrass our kids. I say, “To hell with that! I’m just gonna be real!”
As I’ve mentioned before in previous posts, I’m also in the middle of moving which has been challenging during this crazy time. Everything is closed and it’s scary to let someone inside my apartment so they can help me out with moving boxes, dumping trash and other needed chores.
I’m doing all of this myself right now, but one thing that’s made it easier is that I’ve sold most of my furniture and will only have to move a bed, a couple of lamps, and some boxes. I’m putting most of my stuff in storage. That way I can lead the Gypsy life once things are back to normal.
