Just a quick post about a fun restaurant find in Los Angeles for all of you hippie mamas. I went to a blogging event at Flower Child in Santa Monica and felt like I was back in the 60’s again. What’s ironic is that I was the only person at the event who could even remember the 60’s.
Flower child is a charming eatery on 2nd Street, near the ocean, that offers all sorts of healthy vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals to keep you young as a flower child forever. LOL
This is my yummy buffet plate. I enjoyed it with some organic Malbec and a glass of their herbal iced tea.
I love that Flower Child is a restaurant that cares about what you put into your body. They source their ingredients from local organic non-GMO farmers and use compassionately bred natural chicken, grass-fed beef, sustainable seafood. Their philosophy is “Healthy food for a happy world.”
The atmosphere is quirky with its large Twiggy poster, peace signs, and other fun 60’s inspired decorations. They have a nice open space upstairs, which is perfect for meetings and offers free wifi. It’s a wonderful place to socialize and work in. If I didn’t live way out in the valley, I’d hang out there all the time.
Our foodie seminar was hosted by The Collective LA, which is having a day-long Fashion, Food, Travel conference for bloggers and influencers on October 20, 2017. I’ve been to one of their conferences before and they’re fabulous. For tickets, click here.
If you’re in the Santa Monica area, stop into Flower Child for a bite. They also have locations in Dallas, Arcadia, Austin, Del Mar, Scottsdale, and Uptown. (in Phoenix) Get your 60’s groove on and enjoy a healthy meal. All that’s missing is the pot.
