I love when I find outstanding skin care products and wanted to give a shout out to a favorite brand I found at my local farmer’s market. It’s an Italian skin care line called Zona Italy owned by Pietro Manca.
All of his products are inspired by the natural spas of Italy. They’re formulated with anti-aging antioxidants, luscious botanicals, and high-quality essential oils imported from the fertile and unspoiled regions of Italy. There are no parabens, sulfates, artificial colors, harsh detergents, heavy metals or other harmful chemicals.
Note: I’m not receiving compensation for promoting these products. I use them myself and wanted to share them with you.
My favorite so far has been the Bagnogel body oil, body wash, and shea butter stress formula in the French lavender scent. Zona’s lavender is harvested by hand in the Alps, free from pollutants, and then it’s essential oil is extracted.
Lavender not only smells amazing but is detoxifying, deep-cleansing, antiseptic and anti-bacterial.
Zona Italian Skin Care products contain high-quality essential oils and botanicals
- Sweet Almond oil
- Extra Virgin Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis – just had to mention that)
- Pomegranate Seed Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Jojoba Seed Oil
- Safflower oil
- French Lavender oil
- Carrot Seed Oil
- Manuka Essential Oil (New Zealand Tea Tree Oil)
- Birch Sweet Essential Oil
- Vitamin E
I like to spray a burst of oil into my palms and rub it vigorously on my arms and legs. It’s immediately calming and makes my super dry skin feel soft and fragrant. I use it before I go to bed and its relaxing aroma helps me sleep.
Carrot seed oil assists in removing toxins, healing dry, chapped and cracked skin. It revitalizes as well as tones the skin and protects it against the effects of ultraviolet radiation. It also helps heal scar tissue, burns, psoriasis, and eczema.
You only need a tiny drop of Bagnogel gentle body wash to cleanse your entire body. One bottle is equal to 100 washes. My skin always feels revitalized after a shower or bath.
Zona’s proprietary mixture of extra virgin “Italian” olive oil and shea butter is the perfect remedy for dry skin patches. For me, that’s my heels. It gets into the cracks on the bottom of my feet and softens them. I’ve tried too many other products in the past, unsuccessfully, and can honestly say it works. Another plus is that it contains anti-inflammatories that will soothe aches and pains. It helped immensely after I sprained both of my ankles. Zona’s shea butter is extracted from tree fruits in West Africa.
Although Zona Italian skin care products are currently sold at local farmers markets in the Los Angeles area, they’re also available online here. If you want soft and wrinkle-free skin and are looking for a natural product made with high-quality essential oils and botanicals, I highly recommend you give them a try.
