I’d have to say Tex Mex is myf avorite cuisine! I’m a Texas gal–mostly from Houston, fam in San Antonio and Dallas, daughter at University of Texas in Austin, son graduated from UTMB at Galveston. I could easily have TexMex fordaysina row…including breakfast :)

  2. says

I love Italian! After spending a few weeks over there traveling during Culinary school… Italian would have to be my favorite to make. Gnocchi… has my heart!

  3. Heather! says

It’s funny to think of this as ‘cuisine’, but I’m a salad queen! Pea salad, broccoli salad, pasta salad, grape salad, fruit salads…I make ’em and love ’em all!

  4. MaryB says

It is hard to pick one favorite type of cuisine but I’ll say homestyle Italian. So good! It just feels like comfort food to me.

  5. Kathy W says

I have to say good old down on the farm meat and potatoes. While I enjoy Chinese and Italian foods, I always come back to the plain old farm food when I need something comforting.

  6. Ja Koh says

Although I’m Asian, I have to admit that my favorite type of food is Persian. The subtlety of the spices is amazing.

  7. Adee shekar says

I’d have to say Italian cuisine is my favorite. I just love all the yummy carbs and cheesy fillings and sauces. A close second favorite would be Thai food. It’s so fresh and flavorful!

  8. Robin Wilson says

I don’t have an “educated” palatte so I don’t have a true favorite. But I do love Southern Style cooking as that is what I grew up on and cook the best. But I am always up for a tasting adventure.

  9. Harmony B says

I like Italian and thanks to Rocco Dispiritos new book Ive found some great ways to cut a lot of carbs and calories

  10. says

I am from Texas so it’s gotta be Southern Food, like fried catfish, meatload, fried chicken, girts, mashed tators, green beans, collard greens, and cornbread. Now who wouldn’t love southern cooking.

  11. Susan Broughton says

I like all food! lol I guess if I had to choose it would be Mexican food but the Asian food comes in a close second! Thanks

  12. katrina davis says

My favorite cuisine is Southern food. There’s just so much comfort in Southern meals that I feel like I’m coming home every time I eat a Southern dish.

  13. says

My favourite cuisine would definitely have to be any thing Asian. They can take such simple and yummy ingredients that can stand on their own and make them into a dish that is creative, still simple and delicious. There cooking is such an art, and I also have the utmost respect for their chefs.

  14. Lindaq says

My favorite type of cuisine is Italian. I have no Italian blood…I’m 1/2 Polish, 1/4 French and 1/4 German. But I had the opportunity to live in Italy for a year back in the 60s (yes, I’m THAT old!), and I learned to love and to cook Italian. Because I’m (cough) older, I could really use a new set of cookware right about now! :)

  15. Ceria Fernandez says

I’m a southern belle, born and raised in New Orleans, La. I relocated to Connecticut after surviving hurricane Katrina. I am now in college taking up culinary arts. My favorite cuisine is definitely a mixture of southern soul food and Cajun!

  16. Melissa says

I think the better question it what type of cuisine don’t I like?!
But if I have to choose, I’d have to say Italian.

  17. Layla S. says

I vote for all cuisine’s that taste soo yummy it is all about what I enjoy the most from America, to Italian to Mediterranean to Mexican I love all what is delicious =)

  18. telesma says

I don’t have a favorite type of cuisine. I love them ALL. Italian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, English, French, Mexican, Tex-Mex/American Southwestern, Cajun, American Southern, Classic American Diner, etc. I probably do more Cajun than anything because that’s my husband’s and my heritage, but I can’t say it’s my favorite. I’m also the kind of person who tries a new ice cream flavor every time rather than having a favorite. :)

  19. Tee says

My favorite cuisine is Cajun. There are just so many different flavors, textures, colors , scents and memories that are part of it there is no other that can come close for me, though I do enjoy a wide variety of culture’s cuisine.

  20. says

I love so many cuisines it is hard to pick just one. More than anything, I love to bake! If I had to chose just one I have to go with Italian. It was cooked most often when I was young, so it screams comfort food to me.
