I’ve put together a list of my favorite online stores for clothing and fashion brands that cater to women over 50. It’s not always easy to find sizes to fit our ever-changing figures but that doesn’t mean we have to look frumpy. These stores offer both comfort and a variety of sizes, which is important as we grow older. Find special deals in the right sidebar. You never know. You may find the perfect deal for your budget.
The links below are affiliate links, which means I have partnered with these companies. If you click on a link and make a purchase I will receive a small commission (like a few cents) All of these sites are safe and I only promote brands I truly believe in. This helps support this site’s maintenance and fees and I thank you in advance.
Best Online Stores – Fashionable clothing and accessories for women over 50
I’ve chosen fashion outlets with online shopping that fit real women who aren’t necessarily twigs. We all come in different shapes and sizes and it seems like most of the clothes we find at malls are meant only to fit twenty-somethings.
Tahari – I love Tahari clothing. This line is sophisticated and classy.
NORDSTROM – If you are looking for elegant and fashionable attire, Nordstrom’s is a one-stop shop for clothing, shoes, beauty items and accessories. They also have a fabulous department for plus size women. You can’t go wrong shopping at Nordstrom’s.
Warby Parker – This online store was featured on 60’s minutes as a store that gives back to the community. Warby Parker offers fashion sunglasses and eyeglasses designed in-house and crafted from the best materials. You can test out 5 at a time at home and then return them through the mail. The company partners with non-profits like VisionSpring to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
Ebags – From purses to luggage, Ebags has it all. What many people don’t know is that they also offer clothing, sunglasses, shoes, gloves, watches, and travel items all at reasonable prices with a long list of top brands.
Luxomo – Designer sunglasses that are price conscious with top brands such as Gucci, Rayban, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs and more. Order 5 glasses to try before you buy. Beautiful selection to choose from.
Target – Who doesn’t love this store for it’s attractive and affordable products? Everything you need from clothing and accessories to groceries. And, it’s even easier to order what you love online for your convenience.
The best in outdoor clothing
Traveling and need something for the outdoors or just a fabulous parka for cold weather? These companies have just what you need.
Columbia – I love my Columbia down parka and have taken it to Europe during the winter several times. It’s light, thermal, (using Omni-Heat Reflective material) and is solidly constructed. Columbia offers all sorts of outerwear, footwear, layering components, vests, apparel, hats, and accessories. They also offer Plus-sizes. Oregon-based.
Paragon Sports – Paragon Sports offers name brands in outdoor wear that include Patagonia, North Face, Canada Goose, Maui Jim and more. They cover every type of sport from skiing to boating. Jackets, footwear, bags, sunglasses, camping gear, apparel, yoga equipment, swimsuits – you name it for those who live an active lifestyle. This company is based in New York and as been open since 1908.
Comfortable but also stylish shoes
When it comes to shoes once you’re over 50, COMFORT is king but they can still be stylish and chic. It makes no sense to risk falling off 6-inch heels or to suffer a backache just to look glamorous. These brands are dedicated to keeping your feet healthy and you’ll still look good at the same time.
Teva – Sandals, boots, sneakers, and more made with FloatLite technology. This company was born in the Grand Canyon in 1984 when a river guide rigged two velcro watch bands to a pair of old flip flops. Their shoes are attractive, supportive, and super comfortable.
More clothing and accessories recommendations will be coming soon.
